After as little as 1,000 miles of off-road driving, unprotected rear shocks can experience significant wear and damage from tire roost. This kit helps protect against that suspension damage.

Why do exposed rear shocks need a mud flap?
Debris thrown by the front tires hits the rear shocks. After as little as 1,000 miles of off-road driving, unprotected rear shocks can show significant wear and damage from tire roost.
How big is the flap and what is it made of?
The flap is 18" long by 7" wide, cut from thick, nylon-reinforced rubber, so it fully covers the rear shock. The steel mounting bracket is laser cut, CNC bent and MIG welded in-house, then finished in hammer-black powder coat.
Do I have to drill anything to install it?
No. It is a bolt-on install with no drilling. The steel bracket bolts to the upper side of the OEM frame.
Is it a good add-on for the Ranger Raptor bed cage long travel kit?
Yes. It is recommended for trucks with exposed shocks, including the Long Travel Bed Cage Kits with side shock mounts.
What comes in the kit?
