Bronco Raptor Protection Kits — Skid Plates, Frame Guards & Underbody Armor

Protect your 2022+ Ford Bronco Raptor where the trail hits hardest. Foutz Motorsports designs, machines, and tests every Bronco Raptor protection kit in-house in the United States — built by the same team that put the first Ford Raptor on the Baja 1000 starting line in 2009. From the fuel tank to the rear differential, our American-made skid plates and frame guards shield the factory components that high-speed desert running, rock crawling, and overland abuse expose first.

Whether you're chasing whoops in Glamis, picking lines in Moab, or daily driving a Code Orange build, this collection has the underbody armor engineered specifically for the Bronco Raptor's chassis, suspension geometry, and 37-inch tire package.

What's Included in This Bronco Raptor Protection Collection

This collection covers every high-impact zone under your Bronco Raptor:

  • Full underbody skid plate — primary front-to-mid chassis protection for the engine, transmission, and transfer case
  • Fuel tank skid plate — shields the rear-mounted fuel tank from rocks, ruts, and debris strikes
  • Rear differential skid plate — armors the rear axle housing and diff cover from direct hits
  • Lower control arm skid plates (stock arm) — protects factory front lower control arms during articulation and landings
  • Rear lower arm frame guard with HDPE slide — guards the rear trailing arm frame mounts and lets the truck slide over obstacles instead of catching
  • Rear shock skid kit — protects the rear shock reservoirs and lower mounts from rear-end impacts
  • Active Suspension Control Module guard — shields the factory ASCM, a known vulnerability on the Bronco Raptor

Pricing across the collection ranges from $129.99 to $1,099.99 USD, and most kits are stocked in our Arizona facility for fast shipping.

Why Bronco Raptor Owners Need Aftermarket Protection

The Bronco Raptor's factory skid plates and underbody covers are designed for moderate off-road use — not the high-speed desert running the truck is capable of. The fuel tank, rear differential, control arm mounts, and Active Suspension Control Module are all exposed to direct impact when the truck is used the way it was built to be driven. A single hit on an unprotected fuel tank or ASCM can sideline a $90,000 truck. Foutz Motorsports protection kits are CNC-machined from steel and aluminum, finished to OEM-grade standards, and engineered around the actual Bronco Raptor chassis — not adapted from another platform.

Built by the Most Experienced Raptor Team in the Industry

Foutz Motorsports has been building, racing, and protecting Ford Raptors longer than any other shop. Founder Greg Foutz has won multiple production-class desert races in stock-class Raptors, and that race-tested knowledge goes into every Bronco Raptor part we manufacture. When you bolt on a Foutz skid plate or frame guard, you're installing hardware proven on Baja-class trucks — not a generic off-the-shelf cover.

Frequently Asked Questions

What protection does a Bronco Raptor need for off-road use?

The most vulnerable areas on a 2022+ Ford Bronco Raptor are the fuel tank, rear differential, lower control arm mounts, rear trailing arm frame mounts, rear shock reservoirs, and the Active Suspension Control Module (ASCM). A complete protection kit covers all of these zones with steel and aluminum skid plates and frame guards.

Will these skid plates fit my 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 Bronco Raptor?

Yes. Every product in this collection is engineered to fit all 2022 and newer Ford Bronco Raptor models. Fitment has not changed across model years.

Are Foutz Motorsports protection kits made in the USA?

Yes. All Bronco Raptor protection kits are designed, manufactured, and assembled in the United States at our Arizona facility.

Do these skid plates work with the factory Active Suspension Control system?

Yes. Our kits are designed around the Bronco Raptor's factory suspension and electronics, including the Active Suspension Control Module. We also offer a dedicated ASCM protective guard for owners who want to shield that component specifically.

Can I install these kits at home?

Most Bronco Raptor protection kits in this collection are bolt-on installations using standard hand tools. Install guides are available on the Foutz Motorsports website. Customers comfortable with basic underbody work can typically complete installations in a home garage.

What's the difference between a skid plate and a frame guard?

A skid plate covers a flat or angled surface (like the underbody, fuel tank, or differential) to deflect impacts. A frame guard protects a specific bracket or mounting point on the chassis — like the rear lower arm frame mount — and often includes a slide surface (HDPE) so the truck glides over obstacles instead of hanging up.

We currently ship to the United States, and Canada. To enquire about shipping to a different destination, please contact us. We can assist you with finding a shipping broker to ship products to other US friendly countries.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days after it leaves our facility. Next day shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination (estimated at checkout). Products we have in stock at the time of order normally ship within 48 hours. Products not in stock can take 4-6 weeks depending on production. Consult your customer service representative for details on product stock and how quickly an item can ship to you.

Are Products in stock or built to order?

We try to maintain reasonable stock of all of our Foutz Motorsports manufactured parts but sometimes we will run short and have to manufacture more to fill orders. Some items we only build to stock due to complexity of a kit or sometimes higher cost items would be built to order. Best to consult your sales representative for details on what we have on hand before placing your order. Normally production time runs up to about 4-6 weeks for any items that we dont have on hand.
