2021-2026 Ford F-150 Raptor Rear Bed Cage & Organizer - Through-The-Bed Coil Over Or Bypass, 17 Inches Of Travel

Description

The through-the-bed rear bed cage for the 2021–2026 Ford F-150 Raptor and Raptor R. Converts the factory rear shocks to a 3.0x16" travel coil over or a 3.5x16" travel bypass, and gets 17 inches of rear wheel travel.

It does that on your existing rear suspension. The cage was designed around the stock Gen 3 geometry and links deliberately, to keep the cost of the step down — you are buying travel, not rebuilding the whole rear end. With a coil over it eliminates the factory shock and spring together.

It is also a bed organizer, because the structure is there anyway: spare tires, a jack, fuel jugs and cargo all mount to it, in configurations you can change later.

Where 17 Inches Sits

There are three levels of Gen 3 rear suspension, and they differ by what you are willing to give up.

15" — billet links, factory shock

Bolt-on. Billet trailing arms and a panhard bar replace the stamped factory parts. Nothing is cut, nothing is welded, the bed is untouched.

17" — this kit, through the bed

The shock mounts directly rather than through a linkage. That means a larger shock, and it is easier to tune and easier to service than any cantilever arrangement — everything you need to reach is right there in the bed. The trade is that the shocks come up through the bed floor.

19" — long travel cantilever

The cantilever kit gets the most travel with everything under the bed floor — but it is a bigger job and a bigger spend, and the shock is harder to get at.

Coil Over Or Bypass?

3.0x16" coil over

Replaces the factory shock and the factory spring with one unit, with adjustable ride height. The cleanest conversion and the simpler setup. Springs are not included with the coil over — they are chosen to suit the truck's weight and bought separately.

3.5x16" bypass

A larger body with position-sensitive damping, for a truck that spends real time at speed in rough terrain. More adjustment, more capability, more money.

A note on shock supply

FOX availability has been difficult for a while. You can order shocks with the kit, but check timing with our sales team before you count on a date — or buy an off-the-shelf shock from any vendor and fit it to the kit. We would rather you knew that up front.

What Is In The Kit

  • Bed cage kit with side shock mounts for a through-the-bed 3.5"x16 bypass or 3.0x16 coil over — choose style and options
  • Frame mount support kit
  • Limit strap kit

Spare tire configuration, chosen at order

  • Dual stand-up tire — two spares upright, with room for a jack and fuel jugs
  • Single lay-down flat — one spare flat, low enough to sit under a bed cover

Add-ons at checkout

  • Bypass shock package or coil over shock package
  • Rear cargo section
  • Quick release jack kit
  • Fuel jug mount tray — dual 5 gallon jugs, dual stand-up tire configuration only

Configuration Limits Worth Knowing

Two combinations do not work together, and it is better to know now:

  • Fuel jug tray needs the dual stand-up tire configuration. It does not fit the single lay-down layout.
  • Single lay-down tire is not compatible with the slide-out cargo tray kit, because of the offset height of the slide-out tray. It does work with no rear cargo section, or with the fixed rear cargo section.

Everything else mixes freely, and because the system is modular you can change the configuration later rather than buying again.

Construction

  • Top quality US steel and aluminum
  • Laser cut and CNC bent for repeatable fit
  • Fixture welded and powder coated black for corrosion protection
  • Stainless hardware for the main sections
  • Grade 8 high strength hardware for the shock mounts and frame attachment

Fitment

Fits the Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 Ford F-150 Raptor, model years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, including the Raptor R.

Built around the stock Gen 3 rear suspension geometry and links, so it works with your existing rear arms — and equally with our billet links and panhard bar if you want to upgrade those at the same time.

Questions

How much rear wheel travel does this give?

17 inches. That is up from 15 on stock-length links with the factory shock, and below the 19 the long travel cantilever kit reaches.

Do the shocks come up through the bed floor?

Yes — that is how the kit works, and it is why the shock is so much easier to tune and service than a cantilever setup. If keeping the bed floor untouched matters more, look at the cantilever kit instead.

Do I need new links?

No. The kit is designed around stock Gen 3 geometry and links specifically to keep the cost down.

Are springs included with the coil over?

No. Coil over springs are chosen to suit your truck and bought separately.

Can I still carry a spare under a bed cover?

Yes, with the single lay-down flat configuration.

Can I change the configuration later?

Yes. It is modular, so you can add cargo sections, a jack mount or jug carriers later without replacing what you already have.

Does it fit a 2025 or 2026 Raptor?

Yes, 2021 through 2026 Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 trucks including the Raptor R.

Where is it made?

Designed, cut, welded and finished in-house at our facility in Mesa, Arizona, USA.

ANODIZED CARE & DISCLAIMER:   read before ordering
⚠️ WARNING:
Improper cleaning can permanently damage the anodic coating on billet aluminum parts, causing fading, staining, or discoloration.

SOAPS / CLEANERS THAT DAMAGE :
High-pH (alkaline) soaps, degreasers, and acidic wheel cleaners can fade, stain, or strip anodized aluminum, especially when they contain sodium hydroxide (lye) or other strong acids. Heavy-duty fast-acting alkaline cleaners designed for engine bays or wheels should not be used on anodized surfaces.

WHAT TO AVOID :
High-pH (alkaline) cleaners
Heavy-duty degreasers
Wheels / engine bay cleaners
Oven cleaners (e.g., Yellow Cap, Easy-Off)
Products containing sodium hydroxide (lye)
Damage the anodic coating
Hot Surfaces
Never wash in direct sunlight, as heat accelerates chemical damage
 Acidic cleaners
Wheel cleaners with strong acids
Nitric or sulfuric-based cleaners
Aggressive aluminum cleaners
 Aluminum brighteners or etchers

Products designed for raw or polished aluminum can strip the anodized coating

✅ HOW TO PROTECT ANODIZED ALUMINUM:

pH-neutral soaps
only use cleaners with a pH between 6–8
Wash on cool surfaces
Avoid direct sunlight or hot parts
Test small areas first
Always try new products on a small, hidden area
Safe Alternatives:
Isopropyl alcohol (used carefully and sparingly)
• Mild Automotive Car Wash Soap

⚠️ RESPONSIBILITY NOTICE:
Damage caused by improper cleaning chemicals or detailing products is the sole responsibility of the owner. Keeping your anodized parts clean with the right products will help maintain their finish and extend their lifespan.
